The Aviary Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Sleep Little Finch mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your experience with our software is secure and transparent.

1. Information collection and use

Sleep Little Finch is designed to function locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, health-related information, or identifiers to external servers. All information you input into the app remains exclusively on your own hardware.

2. Permissions and data processing

The application uses specific system permissions to provide its core features. These are handled locally and are not used for tracking purposes:

• Notifications: to provide sleep training alerts and essential updates.
• Alarms and boot access: to ensure scheduled timers and notifications persist after a device restart.
• Device badging: to allow the app icon to display notification counts, using manufacturer-specific launcher permissions (e.g. Samsung, Oppo, Huawei).

3. Third-party sharing

We do not share, sell, or disclose your data to third parties. Sleep Little Finch does not contain third-party analytics, tracking software, or advertising SDKs.

4. Data management

You have full control over your data. Because no data is stored on our servers, you can permanently delete all information by:

• Using the “Clear Data” feature within the app settings, or
• Uninstalling the application from your device.

5. Children’s privacy

Sleep Little Finch is intended for use by parents and caregivers. The app does not knowingly collect any data from children, and all data entered about a child stays on the parent’s device.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the app after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
